Our Partners

As a relatively small Housing Association it is difficult for us to achieve the economies of scale that are enjoyed by many of the larger organisations.  In order to maintain efficiency it is therefore important that we work in partnership with other organisations – especially those that have similar values and aims to us.

The Matrix Housing Partnership is a partnership of five housing associations of which Caldmore is one of the core members.  It has been in existence for more than three years, has developed and evolved over that time from a development partnership to a much broader based partnership with growing ambitions for the future.

The core partners own, manage and have under development some 20,000 dwellings, employ more than 1,000 staff, have assets approaching £1billion, a combined annual turnover of almost £100 million and a development programme of over 1,400 homes to a value of over £140million.
Matrix is a partnership of independent organisations, achieving scale through joint work as an alternative to group structures and mergers. The member associations have separate identities, aims and ambitions.  However, the values overlap so significantly that it is recognised that much can be achieved jointly without threatening independence.

Within Walsall there is a collaborative arrangement between housing associations and the local authority known as the Walsall Housing Partnership.  At Caldmore we are members of this partnership and our key staff are very active within a range of working groups aiming to help the council meet its main targets in relation to housing and related support services

We also work with a number of other organisations who assist us in providing our range of housing, and community support services.  For more information about the specific agencies and organisations we work with, simply double click on the appropriate icon in the links section and you will be directed straight to their website.
