We employ approximately 160 staff located at offices, residential care homes and supported housing schemes all within the borough of Walsall in the West Midlands.  A charitable organisation established in 1972, we are interested in applications from people who have acquired their skills, qualifications and experience in previous roles and would like to develop these further.

Support Roles provide quality supported housing services to vulnerable people.  Support is also offered to those living independently in the community.  Working with key statutory and voluntary agencies, we ensure that all aspects of the client's welfare and housing needs are met.  This involves attending meetings and appointments with clients, offering guidance and support to enhance their development, self-confidence and personal aspirations.   These roles involve working unsociable hours, including overnight, weekend and bank holiday shifts.

Housing Roles aim is to maximise rental income, exploring all possibilities for recovery and ensuring prompt action is taken in cases of non-payment.  They ensure that empty properties are promptly progressed and that properties are re-allocated to new tenants.  We work with tenant groups and promote and encourage tenant participation.  We co-ordinate and facilitate initiatives such as Neighbourhood Watch and other crime prevention measures.

Landscape Roles are part of a team responsible for providing a landscape service to our properties with communal gardens; including garden creation, garden maintenance, paving and fencing.  We look for individuals with health and safety knowledge and the willingness to work in all weathers.
