Goals and Aspirations
The following goals set out our overall corporate ambitions:
- To make a positive impact on the quality of life of our customers through housing, regeneration and community initiatives
- To make continuing improvements in quality of service and efficiency
- To maintain and improve the overall quality of our assets in line with customer expectation
- To have overall growth in our customer base in line with the needs of local communities
- To make a positive impact on equality and community cohesion within all of the areas where we operate
- To be regarded as an excellent organisation supporting our local communities
- To remain viable as a business and demonstrate value for money in our key services
- To have a governing body, with skills and awareness relevant to community needs, that sets and monitors the overall direction of the organisation
- To be recognised as an excellent employer with skilled and motivated staff who are sensitive to the needs of the people and communities we support.
With our Goals and values in mind we have also developed corporate aspirations based on the question “what would indicate success for our organisation in 10 years time?” The answers help us to express the impact we would like to make on our communities and also enable us to set milestones in our long term plans. These “aspiration milestones” can be downloaded from this site and indicate what we aim to achieve on an on-going basis, in the short term or in the medium to long term over the next decade.
