Our care and support principles
We are committed to providing good standards of accommodation and services to all our customers and we recognise the particular needs of those who are most vulnerable.
- We provide accommodation in an appropriate and homely setting
- We ensure the right levels of support from appropriately trained staff
- We set service standards and maintain a practice of regular review
- We encourage service users to participate
- We encourage service users to develop and enhance existing skills and increase their potential by personal achievement of realistic goals
- We recognise and respect service users' rights to dignity, choice and the freedom to hold their own beliefs where these do not infringe on the rights of others
- We strive to achieve quality of life and opportunity for people to achieve maximum levels of independence in a safe environment
- We maintain close links with other specialist organisations
- We encourage service users to identify their own requirements for personal development. Training and/or support plans are agreed as a result and are regularly reviewed
