Great Incentives for Tenants
Our GIFT scheme explained:
GIFT is a new initiative which provides a wide range of benefits for you as a valued customer of Caldmore.
It is free to join so we hope that you will become a member and receive the benefits you deserve.
GIFT Scheme Membership Criteria
- You have kept your rent account clear
- You have kept an agreement to clear your rent account for 13 consecutive weeks
- You do not owe us any money for re-chargeable repairs or court costs
- You have kept your home (including garden) in good condition
- You have no other breaches of tenancy conditions; such as anti social behaviour or annoyance to your neighbours.

Membership Benefits
Countdown cards - Members will be provided with a Countdown card which can be used to obtain discounts from high street retailers. The cards have a life span of 12 months and will be renewed if you continue to meet the criteria.
Quarterly Prize Draws - All members will be entered into a quarterly prize draw for a £50 gift voucher.
Improved Repairs Targets - You will receive a faster repairs service. A basic service as per Housing Corporation Performance standards will continue for non members.
Enhanced Transfers - An extra point will automatically be awarded for those members requesting transfers.
GIFT only competitions - You will gain exclusive entry to competitions offering further discounts and prizes.
Starter Packs - All new tenants who move into their homes without any delay and ensure rent agreements or Housing Benefit is paid receive a £10 gift voucher.
Community Chest - If you are part of a residents' group, you can apply for funding to help you with community projects.
Choice Based Improvements - You will get more choice with fixtures and fittings when your home is due for the re-improvements.
Gardening Competition - Opportunity to win a further £50 in vouchers will be open to all members who have maintained their gardens and communal areas.
Exit Gift - Gift vouchers will be issues to tenants terminating their tenancy following a minimum of 12 months, providing they have maintained a clear rent account and left the property in a clean and tidy condition (free of rubbish and with no sign of tenant abuse).
If you are currently in rent arrears
If you have arrears but want to become a member of the GIFT service, please contact your Housing Officer and make a payment agreement. Once you have maintained your agreement for 13 consecutive weeks, we will send you an application form.
Housing Benefit Payments
If you are in receipt of full housing benefit you are still entitled to join providing you have met the rest of the criteria.
Suspending Membership
If you fall into arrears or breach any of the tenancy conditions, we will send you a suspension notice from GIFT. We appreciate that you may encounter temporary financial difficulties, particularly resulting from Housing Benefit delays. Therefore, members will not be permanently excluded and membership will be re-instated as soon as the matters are resolved.
