Housing Management
We have a team of officers who provide a Housing Management service to a diverse mixture of tenants, shared owners and Leaseholders.
We offer a wide range of housing to meet individual people’s needs.
Our homes include bungalows, flats and houses. Applying for a home varies depending on your current housing circumstances; you can apply for a home by coming to our office, enquiring on the website or by completing a “Walsall Access to housing” form. More information is given in providing a home.
Choice and option is fundamental to Housing Management. We recognise that it is important to give our tenants a variety of ways to pay their rent.
If you’re finding it hard to pay your rent or other bills, you may be able to get help from independent advice on welfare benefits and debts or assistance with completing a Housing Benefit form. These forms are available from the Council or from our Offices.
We are committed to rewarding the tenants who co-operate with us by offering an incentive scheme called 'GIFT' (Great Incentives for Tenants); this is for those who pay their rent on time, look after their property and meet their responsibilities as set out in their tenancy agreement.
